ight before Geoff Keighly kicked off his Summer Throat Stroke™, we all scrambled to gather some of our thoughts on what we’ve been playing while we can because unlike the droughts we’ve seen in the years before 2022, we’re in for a flood of titles dropping onto shelves this summer.

Setting aside the real-life struggles of Covid-19 recovery and Car purchases, George and Andrew took the time to go over their thoughts on Sony’s latest State of lay, and all of the neat stuff they’ve been playing. This episode features talk about the Playdate, Trek to Yomi, Nintendo 3DS eShop sunset, Steam Deck, Crimson ShroudNintendo Switch SportsOvercookedDonut DodoTempest 2000Pokémon GOStreet Fighter VI impressions, and so much more!

Make sure you’ve got your suntan lotion and your mask handy while you enjoy Episode 142 of Press Pause Radio in the smoldering-ass sun!

limate Change and Stonks be damned because we out here recording another fresh episode of Press Pause Radio for y’all, and we even brought back Sean for it too!

In this episode we talk some thought up on the Resident Evil Village demo that released, the Mass Effect Legendary Edition announcement, the bullshit of Six Days in Fallujah, and our shared impressions of the latest Nintendo Direct. We also dive in to what’s been in our consoles, covering a wide range of games that include Vitamin Connection, Capcom Arcade Stadium, Cyber Shadow, World of Warcraft Shadowlands, SNK vs. Capcom: The Match of the Millennium, Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Hades, Project Starship XX, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Turrican Flashback, and so much more.

Be warned though, somehow George’s Mic straight up shit the bed during recording, so his audio quality is nowhere near the quality standard we strive for in our podcast production at Press Pause Radio. The episode is more than listenable. but it’s certainly not at the audible fidelity we would’ve liked it to be, even after salvaging what we could post production (major thanks again to Stark and Sterlz Sound Design for their assistance in the matter!)

an, Daylight Savings time sure is weird—while everyone here at Press Pause radio can appreciate the gift of an extra hour being added during the weekend of all times, it’s still enough to make you queasy…

Still, it’s given us time to catch up on everything we’ve playing before the wave of next generation hardware hits us in a couple of weeks,  and even then, there’s no shortage of stuff to get through. This week we talk about Microsoft announcement of 100% Backwards compatibility of their older software libraries for the Xbox One and  Series X, Commuter Bicycles retailing for over thirteen-thousand dollars, Sony offering free hardware to retro-fit the PSVR headset onto the PlayStation 5, Hades,, Ginga Force, the Sony 1945MD, Way of the Warrior, The Yakuza Collection, Cyberpunk 2077 delays, the Colecovision Super Game Module, and so much more.

Unwrap whatever candy you’ve grabbed over the  holiday, as you plug in for a jam-packed episode of Press Pause Radio before heading into the GOTY season—also, if you haven’t already, be sure to vote this election however which way you can! Also, wear a fucking mask when you go outside—it help save your life, and the lives of those around you!

ow is everyone doing? Like, how’re are you guys, gals, and Nonbinary folk really doing...honestly, we’re all a bit scared, and tired, and nothing is normal at the moment, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t hope, right?

So, on with the show we must go  then, and while we’ve all been really overwhelmed here at Pres Pause Radio, we’ve still managed to keep busy with some games that we would like to discuss in this quarantine special of What’s in Your Console. Just to name a few, we’ve been getting down on Final Fantasy VII Remake, Gaieres, The Turbo Grafx 16/PC Engine Mini, Stadia, Valfaris, Destiny 2, Tom Clancy's The Division 2, Bravely Default 2 Demo, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Animal Crosssing: New Horizons, Bubble Bobble 4 Friends, Rune Factory 4, some handheld Tiger Electronic bullshit, and a slew of other things.

There might not be a commute blat a podcast on at the moment, but we hope you can squeeze some time in for our humble little gaming podcast, with Press Pause Radio Episode 124.

olidays are rough but boy-howdy are they really just the Gosh-dammed best!

Hey y’all, we took a bit of an impromptu break from Press Pause Radio for a few weeks because among the many preparations that the holiday asks of us, we also needed some time to refresh, and actually sit down with some of the games that we picked up o that we could properly talk about them.

The Golden Zonkies for the year of 219 is right around the corner, until then, this episode is a jam-packed what’s in your console, where we’ll be discussing ALL the damn games we’ve been plugging away at since we last recorded. Those games include Radirgy, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Tatsujin Ō, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, Galaxy Force II, Shenmuee III, Death Smiles XX, Death Stranding, Control, Pokémon Sword/Shield, and so much more.

So strap in folks, because we’ve got enough 5 Minute Craft tips, box cakes, and third-party Taki impersonators to blow your mind with in this week’s jamboree of an episode.
