I've been craving Luftrausers now more than ever since I got to play the updated version at PAX East 2013. Luckily, Vlambeer had made a Flash game in 2011 which is what thier upcoming shmupalicious win-nugget is based on, called Luftrauser (without the S.) It's a much simpler game, but the core mechanics are just as solidand every bit as addictive. Oh, and you can play it for free

QCF: Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

ideo Games have, and forever will be, an outlet and conduit for human emotion. They represent an interactive experience that transports a user to another digital realm and demands a certain amount of attention, and the quality of said game is inherent from the return of investment players shell out in order to experience it; Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is a fickle martinet in this regard.

Capcom has enhanced and redefined Monster Hunter Tri for the fledgling Nintendo console with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. And while it utilizes a much more competent hardware structure to its fullest potential this time around, Monster Hunter is still Monster Hunter. With the cult following notwithstanding, the appeal hasn’t seen the same sort of redox treatment, and the barrier of entry is as obnoxious as ever and isn’t exactly tolerable in this day and age anymore. QCF: Injustice: Gods among us

onathan and Martha Kent knew they had their hands full. The moment they discovered a baby aboard an alien spaced pod that crashed into their cornfield on that fateful day years ago, their parenting and the legacy of Jor-El’s omnipresent recordings have instilled the morals and virtue that helped mold Clark Kent into the strongest keeper of justice the galaxy has ever known—but what if that wasn’t enough?

Superman may arguably be the most powerful being in the universe, but ironically he’s also the most human, and with those distinctions comes its limits. NetherRealm Studios aims to explore what happens when the last son of Krypton is pushed beyond his last limit in Injustice: God among Us.

DC vets Palmiotti, Gray, and the rest of the label work in collaboration with Mortal Kombat creators to continue the streak of good luck that the comic book license has seen in games by producing the ultimate comic book fantasy from the DC universe, and deliver it in a solid game at the same time. After some time to indulge the title, both the DC fanboy and the video game player inside of me left their room, got together, and happily shook hands with one another as they spent the afternoon having a solid romp with an experience that created the all too coveted common ground they have been searching for.

QCF: Guacamelee

very culture possesses a title of incredible significance, one that grants the individual who bears it fame and the opportunity to leave behind a legacy for those who succeed said title; the proud lineage of the luchador is such a title.
