PPR 11

So as I am also finishing the QCF do I start to realize that I also haven't really posted up the episodes for that we have recently done hahahaha both of them! so as a quick synopsis of whats been done for those of you have not gone and listened to the episode on iTunes here's a quick run through...

In Episode 10, we decide to take a look at the dying Survival Horror Genre back around the time of Halloween and invited a special guest starred a knowledgeable Gamestop employee and comrade Kevin! covering the history and the introduction of the Genre as we also look into what exactly contributed to its slow decay, and how one of the main stays of the Survival Horror Genre Resident Evil, has become really anything but Survival Horror. Hey everyone, this is Toast welcoming you to the Press Pause Radio Top Five for the week of October 25, 2009. And because my Top Five was too long to reasonably fit in the title, I will display it here. The Top Five this week is Horror Movies That Should Be Games. Sorry about the long winded title, I really could not figure out a easier way to say it. Hopefully the explanations below will be more informative. And quick side note; Horror Movie in this post is a very broad term. I understand that the five movies discussed may not be true horror movies, but they are all a part of the genre in some way. The Add-Console Concept: A Press Pause Radio Retrospective

So I figured I would do another perspective on a concept that just became wildly unpopular among the gaming community & developers themselves. I'm talking about Add-on consoles, consoles that can not function on their own but instead, use the resources of another console in unison to create a new platform, Now there was major surge of these consoles about in the early nineties, with Sega, NEC-TTi, & Atari with their add-on consoles & Nintendo nearly doing so themselves through a failed agreement with Sony.
