Man, this one has been a long time coming...

In his quest to trying to get one of the most electic RGB-quality original hardware setups video-ready for production, George has got his Amiga CD32 recapped and ready with mods that give him access to nearly the entire Amiga library, and that means he has access to all the dumbass "euroshooters" we didn't get over on this side of the pond.

One of which is the cult-classic, Apidya, from Kaiko Games; a title that embodies everything the Amiga was. While George is planning all of the neat games to stream from PAL-centric platform in the "Düo-Dusé" he's going to come out of the gate strong with this weirdo love letter to Japanese shmups!

PPR Presents Limelight: Panzer Dragoon Orta

When SEGA dug deep into their trove of properties to revisit on Microsoft’s 128-bit premiere, they went hard, and one of the big guns behind that effort was Smilebit Premiere, also known as Sega’s “AM6.” After Jet Grind Radio and Typing of the Dead, the studio set their sights on delivering action of the more “shooty” variety, with one of those games being a sequel to a cult-classic still beloved to this day, Panzer Dragoon.

George is picking right where he left off with Panzer Dragoon Orta, and there's a chance he may even roll credits as he starts the quest hot with the Boss of Stage 8! Just TWO more stages to go!

PPR Presents Ourcade: Silent Hill 2

elcome to the next entry of dual stream feature, Ourcade! The feature where George and his partner will stream some games in tandem with one another—specifically games that have had a remaster or remake, where George will be playing the original, while Val is playing the new version. In this streaming session, George and Val are going to play the most iconic entry of Konami’s survival-horror dynasty, Silent Hill 2. On George’s end, he’ll be playing the PS2 classic that redefined the genre back in 2001, while Val will be playing the Bloober Team remake that released last year exclusively on the PS5.

PPR Presenta Limelight: Tokyo Jungle

or those of you who follow social media trends for various spaces, one of the most recent fads has been “Ten insert blank things to get to know me” that’s typically represented by a selfie and ten of whatever that thing is surrounding your mugshot like video games, books, movies, etc. etc. The kitschy new thing comes off like the Gen Z interpretation of “A Picture is louder than a thousand words” (or something like that we think?)

Anyway, George got in on it, and one of the games he plastered around his dumb face was the cult-classic PS3 exclusive, Tokyo Jungle from Japan Studio, and like weirdly, in a year that’s so jam-packed with so many releases, he’s been replaying it like a total weirdo. So naturally, we’re going to farm that enthusiasm for cheap content, and have him stream this goofy Sony gem for next entry of Limelight!

PPR Presents Limelight: Ghost of Yōtei

or anyone keeping score, Ghost of Tsushima is considered to be one of Press Pause Radio’s favorite PlayStation exclusives, so when Ghost of Yōtei surprised announced on a random State of Play, we were feverishly excited for the sequel to say the least.

Fast forward to October where every new video game in the history of forever has seemingly launched, Ghost of Yōtei  has hit the shelves during a quarter that’s just CROWDED with holiday releases, and yet we’re absolutely pumped to give it a nice spot for the slot of this week’s Limelight.

Oh wow, it has been awhile since I've been the person responsible for putting up new content. I will try to make sure that this does not all come crashing down but I cannot make any promises, Internet. Speaking of garbage fires this is Toast welcoming you to another episode of Press Pause Radio where we discuss the Juggalo March, banana peeling tactics, Mario not being a plumber, and wedding advice. That last one had it's ups and downs but we all learned a little more about each other. Sharing is caring.

The normal crew of GeorgieboysAXE, Ser Flash and I also experiment with web cameras and discuss current hot topics including Sean Vanaman and MCA takedowns involving PewDewPie and Firewatch. Our show also reminds everyone that there are a ridiculous amount of games coming out this year such as Sonic Mania, Project Octopath Traveller, Hellblade Setsuna, Yakuza Kiwami, Uncharted Lost Legacy, Destiny 2, Neo Geo Archives: Aero Fighters 2, Neo Geo Archives: Spin Masters, and a newer indie title on the market called Minecraft.

So sit back and enjoy this audio experience, possibly while holding a protest sign depicting a Hatchetman in one hand and in the other some refreshing Faygo Moon Mist. It's the American way.

This week, we talk about Twitch, no, not the actual act of twitching, or convulsing, or anything like that (go see a doctor folks if you're experiencing any of that on the reg by the by.) The conversation covers all the areas worth noting like monetization, new security implementation, online narcissism, and the whole platform just getting too damn big for its own britches.

Among other things, Andrew and George preach what the ALS Ice Bucket challenge, and what it SHOULD be about when you do it, along with the Burger King Kids Club, Captain Planet, Pauley Shore’s Son-in-Law, and fucking Bible Man of all things because when do we ever have a handle on things?
