After our amazing meet and greet at GameWorks last night, we decided to record the official PAX podcast of Press Pause Radio, and it’s a doozy. We were humbled by our friends and special guests joining the record, The Sunken Treasures crew, Aaron and Sara, and another close friend of the show, and 1UP alumni, Ben Bizzle. This show includes Sexy talk, Seagrams, indie games galore, and irrational hatred for Rare.

PAX East 2013: The First Ever PPR After Hours Special: Metagame

e have always had some talk among the cast on doing completely different shows that are geared towards other facets other than video games. Considering PAX was a choice location to experiment with such an idea, we figured, why not give it the ol’ college try and experiment with some of the PAX community? The episode is centered on a social tabletop card game called Meta Game: Video Game Edition, for the sake of expediency, we’ll just link the rules right here, but to summarize, it’s a video game debate game. Couple that with the fact most of us (especially George) were irresponsibly drunk when we recorded it. Keep in mind again, even with all of our production wizardry, there is still come background noise as we directly interacted in the heart of PAX tabletop gaming the night we record, but we assure you, the episode is very much listenable.
