n episode 83 and 170 of Bullet Heaven. we took a look at Bullet Soul: Tama Tamashii. It offered great, newbie-friendly bullet hell thrills and some good scoring mechanics... as well as a ton of DLC included in the Steam package in specific. The newest version of Bullet Soul, Bullet Soul: Infinite Burst, follows that specific release, once again on Steam... but how does it stack up?

ullet heaven SAGAs returns! Following up from Hudson Soft's 1986 Star Soldier, In Volume 3 of the Star Soldier Saga, we're taking a look at the first series offshoot from the series proper: Hector '87! It's a ridiculously hard game that pretty much requires a turbo controller... but how does it stack up?

n episode 4 of Bullet Heaven, we took a look at Battle Garegga on the Sega Saturn. But we've always felt that it was a little... lacking. With the release of Battle Garegga Revision 2016 on the Playstation 4 though, the time has never been better to get down to the nitty gritty and give Battle Garegga its proper due, now with new modes and features!

n series 1 of Bullet Heaven, we took a look at Thunder Spirits on the SNES and Thunder Force V: Perfect System on PSone. Both games tried to capture the magic of the Sega-hardware-based Thunder Force series with varying success; Thunder Force V was great, though considered by many to be inferior to the Saturn (though we disin't think so) and Thunder Spirits was skippable, in favor of Thunder Force III and AC (Also available on Sega Saturn in the Thunder Force Gold packs.)
Well we're back to take a look at a REAL Thunder Force game! Uhh... Lightening Force. Also Known as Thunder Force IV literally everywhere else, whoe does this Genesis shmup stack up? Let's take a look!

e took a look at Castle of Shikigami 2 on the PS2 all the way back in episode 2 of Bullet heaven ages and ages ago. Turns out, its predecessor, Castle of Shikigami was, in fact also released - as Mobile Light Force 2, stripped of story complete with a bizarre, unrelated cover. Degica Games is back with a restored, localized version of this classic game... but how does it hold up in the transition to Steam?
