QCF: Earth Defense Force 2025

andlot and D3 Publisher are back with Earth Defense Force 2025, the latest installment of the ever-popular, cult-classic series and direct sequel to 2007's Earth Defense Force 2017. Like its predecessor and its in-betweener installment Insect Armageddon (by Vicious Cycle in 2011), EDF 2025 features everything you want out of an EDF title—hordes of giant ants. Skyscraper-sized spiders that can make a grown man weep, or how about gargantuan Ravager robots that can lay waste to entire cities just by walking; the only thing that can keep these monstrosities from annihilating mankind? The Earth Defense Force, that’s who!

QCF: Lococycle

This Review was Frelanced by Rob Rich; you can find his other work here.

weapons manufacturer without morals, highly advanced and extremely dangerous artificially intelligent war machines, A lightning strike, and Self-awareness—adventure.  No, I’m not talking about Short Circuit (although I totally could be), I’m talking about Twisted Pixel’s latest…Thing. It’s more like what Short Circuit would be if Johnny 5 were a female motorcycle with a tenuous grip on reality and an auto mechanic stuck to his leg. Also there are tourist traps! I know that barely makes any sense and makes me seem like I may have a substance abuse problem. That’s LocoCycle.

QCF: BattleBlock Theater

he Behemoth always knows how to take a classic formula and make it something special, be it with aliens and Russians in Alien Hominid or the absurdly hilariously animated brawling antics in Castle Crashers, thier games just ooze style and humor. No small wonder with their vintage internet roots on Newgrounds.com. And, as it turns out, things have only still kept getting more awesomer, for real, with Battleblock Theater, a tale of shipwrecked friends, mysterious feline entities on a mysterious island, and Hatty Hattington, friend of all and forced to watch himself test the mettle of all those he loved in a jail-turned theater of sadistic horrors, aggressive cats, constant danger, and certain death.
