Bullet Heaven HD, Episode 56 - Kyuiin

Space fighters and heavily-armed mecha are overrated, especially when you have the utter destructive power of a.... vacuum cleaner??

Akai Katana REVIEW (Xbox 360) - Bullet Heaven, Episode 51

After a fairly lengthy hiatus, Daeruna's back, and we can safely say: sometimes being wrong is the best thing ever! With Europe getting so much shooting love with games like DoDonPachi Resurrection, Rising Star Games brings Cave's Akai Katana to the Xbox 360, and shows that there can still be retail-released Shmups in North America after the questionable Otomedius. But is it worth your time? Oh man, sit down and "GET READY"!!

The legendary shooter makes its triumphant return (and North American debut) on Xbox Live Arcade! In this special extra episode of Bullet Heaven, and in response to criticism towards the Radiant Silvergun review for the Sega Saturn, we take this opportunity to hit all of the points I missed in Season 1's Episode 10.

Stick around after the stackup for a related hardware review of the PDP Versus Fighting Pad for Xbox 360.

Bullet Heaven resumes on October 6th with the debut of Season 3! In the mean time, as always, questions, comments and suggestions are not only welcome but encouraged!

Bullet Heaven HD, Episode 40 - Air Zonk

It's the Season Finale of Bullet Heaven! In this episode, we take a look at the TurboGrafx-16 hit Air "Zonk", released in 1992 by Hudson. Not only did this game push the HuCard format to its technical limits, it has also been an absolute favorite of many of the few who have played it... but has it stood the test of time?

I'D LIKE TO THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU OUT THERE FOR MAKING BULLET HEAVEN A SUCCESS FOR NEARLY TWO YEARS! SEE YOU IN SEASON 3!!

Bullet Heaven HD, Episode 38- Shooter: Space Shot

In episode 34 of Bullet Heaven, we looked at a virtually unknown gem called Shooter: Starfighter Sanvein. It was an example of a $10 budget game done right, and scored very well as a result. Shooter: Space Shot is Starfighter Sanvein's direct predecessor in North America in the A1 line of games (though developed by different company) and shows that shooters for less don't necessarily mean good value...
