So we Figure hey, why not get to know the guys behind Press Pause Radio a little more, So I figured that I'd start things off with me. So I started off into this life style of mine was as I was wee young & I was exposed to the NES in which I was exposed to Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt & Donkey Kong JR. I was hooked, when I wasn't enjoying my youth I was becoming more & more immersed, I soon saw myself owning a Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Super NES a Turbo-Grafx 16, I was hooked for years & years to come, I found myself feeling like I was really involved into something that I never tough I could have so much fun with. As the years came by I forged my love of journalism with years & years of Electronic Gaming Monthly, as I awaited for my monthly subscrption to arrive with Ed Semrad's & Steve Harris's reviews & previews as I also grew into my ever evolving nerd persona with the discovery of Anime & my cemented love DC comic lore.

I rememeber wirting letters to Electronic Gaming Monthly & being so excited & also feeling so torn in Fanboy battles because I had both a Sega Genesis & Super NES & even though now that I'm older, I realized that always felt that I'm a bigger Sega Fanboy, but when I was young, I never felt so torn, I ended up backing EGM & always bashing on Gamepro (hahahahaha I'm 23 now & I still do it!). No matter how much I change as there so many things & parts or skill or quirks make me who I am, Video Games will always be a big part of it & taking the chance to talk about it every two weeks with you guys the listeners...man that's fucking awesome. I'm now going to pass the torch over to Paco, take it away Paco....

Well let's see my bio...
Paco came from a pretty simple family with 2 brothers also into gaming but different styles games lets see my parents kinda started me in gaming all kids wanted and must have a Nintendo at the time I didn't have many game Dino riki and excite bike and the Mario bros with the duck hunt game that was great I remember putting many hours into those games I guess maybe after school late nights and getting to close to the tv after that me and my bros kinda would raise money and sell old console for new ones never owned a snes but I remember having a good collection of sega genisis games we had the genisis with the sega cd never really got into the whole sega cd thing but the genisis was our master for a while playing sonic with cheat codes so we would have to start from level one and then street fighter was good too. We had many friends that we would trade and get new games for that so I guess during the mean time we had a sega game gear we played that thing non stop till one day we mixed up the charger cables and fried the sucker that was the end of that verysad day indeed.

So we went for the next big thing after that yup u guessed itwe got a virtual boy I dunno why but we did have one and not many games and not many other people playing it so I remember we had that and then sold it back and got game boys insted yeah should have done that in the first place but you live and u learn. So when the first playstation came out we saved and sold our genisis for a ps1 yes we did so we had and ok collection I remember mostly renting buying and borrowing games but either why it was a big upgrade from genisis and I was very happy with it I remember the DBZ games we played street fighter alpha final fantasy and metal gear and king of fighters yes and when ps2 came out we also played the hell out of it we actually bought 3 because lil brothers would trip on cables or I don't know they would just break so we have a good one now never had a slim and the. Finally got a dreamcast right before they stopped making them so that was cool we keeped up to date on the hand held we have the gba micro and the sp and now with Nds and Ndsi pretty cool stuff also my baby the Psp even thought it has seen better day I broke the screen once and I ordered and fix my self but it can use a make over lol but now at my place I've got 360 I camped out for my wii and I have a ps3 which is my baby now but my style now is rhythm games fighter games and RPGs there the best with rhythm games I found alot of them were Japanese and pump that is Korea. So yeah I'm not complaining I do love guitar hero and rock band but I'm a big fan of number 2 but yeah that's my story. I think it's Andrew's turn now?

Ha ha ha ha yeah it is. My love of video games began when I was five years old, when I received a Nintendo Entertainment System. This is a common story for many children that grew up in the eighties; mine is no different. I always appreciated and enjoyed video games, but that appreciation never really took off until I was much older.
It has been twenty one years since I received that Nintendo, but I still feel like a kid at heart. I enjoy talking about and playing video games, more now than I ever did growing up. I believe it's due to the fact that I now have the opportunity to discuss games in a mature and intellectual manner. This is how I became a part of Press Pause Radio.
It was a mutual passion for video games that lead me to the Press Pause Radio podcast, and after the first episode I became a proud supporter of the show. I have since had the privilege to meet the shows host, George and Paco as well as become a part of their broadcast. It is truly an honor to be a part of this fine production, and hope to continue doing so for as long as possible.
